GASEO ("we", "us") runs the free AI search visibility audit at proofposts.com. This policy explains what data we collect when you use it, and what we do with it. It is written in plain English on purpose.

1. What we collect

When you run a free audit, we ask for:

Your name — so we can address you in the report email.
Your email address — to send you the audit result.
Your website URL — the site you want audited.

We also fetch the content of the website URL you provide (and any competitor URLs you add) so our engine can analyse it. We do not collect data about your website's visitors or customers — only the public HTML of the pages you ask us to audit.

2. How we use it

To generate your AI search visibility score and fix checklist.
To email you the result.
To aggregate anonymous industry benchmarks (your site is shown privately; league tables are anonymised).

3. Where it is stored

Your name, email, and website URL are stored in a private Google Sheet owned by GASEO. The audit itself runs in your browser — we do not store a copy of your full report on our servers.

4. Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. The only third parties involved are:

CORS proxy services (corsproxy.io, allorigins.win, and similar) that fetch the public pages you ask us to audit. These act as technical relays and see only the public page content, not your personal data.
Email delivery — your audit result is sent to you by email.

5. Cookies & tracking

GASEO does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The audit tool is a static site with no persistent cookies required to use it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will act within 30 days.

7. Data retention

We keep your name, email, and website URL so we can send you your result and (if you opt in) occasional updates on AI search visibility. We delete this data on request.
